Hola a todos. Mi nombre es Sofia Bermudez, soy un estudiante del grado 11 del Bureche, y este año, tengo el honor de ser uno de tus presidentes deI Consejo de Seguridad. Es un placer asumir este cargo y poder ser una guía para ustedes durante todo el proceso. Espero que todos vengan con la disposición para debatir, resolver problemas internacionales, y colaborar con otros. Más que todo, espero que esta experiencia sea inolvidable. Hola, mi nombre es Nohelia Arias y seré la presidenta del Security Council durante BUMUN III. Para mí es un honor acompañarlos en uno de los comités más retadores del MUN. El UNSC exige compromiso, preparación y carácter, pero también ofrece una experiencia única de aprendizaje y crecimiento. Estoy completamente dispuesta a apoyarlos, guiarlos y ayudarlos en todo lo que necesiten para que este comité sea no solo exigente, sino también enriquecedor y memorable para cada uno de ustedes.
Security Council Comittee
The United Nations Charter established six main organs of the United Nations, including the Security Council. It gives primary responsibility for maintaining international peace and security to the Security Council, which may meet whenever peace is threatened. All members of the United Nations agree to accept and carry out the decisions of the Security Council. While other organs of the United Nations make recommendations to member states, only the Security Council has the power to make decisions that member states are then obligated to implement under the Charter.
