ICJ Committee
The International Court of Justice (ICJ) is the principal judicial organ of the United Nations (UN). It was established in 1945 and is based in The Hague, Netherlands. Its main role is to settle legal disputes between states in accordance with international law and to give advisory opinions on legal questions referred to it by UN organs and specialized agencies. The ICJ helps promote peaceful relations and respect for international law worldwide.​
